Overview: Team is open to boys in the 1 & 2nd grade who MUST have at least one full season of experience. In order to play on the 1-2nd grade team players need to have completed one of our introduction programs (Running Helmets, Polar Bear Cub or Lumberjack Lacrosse Academy) and demonstrate the maturity and skill set to play on a team. Please note that the league and or coaches reserve the right to move a player from the team to the Running Helmets division if they do not exhibit the maturity and skill set to play on a team.
Participant are taught the fundamental skills required to develop into a complete player. At StickWithUs.org our primary commitment is teaching the game of lacrosse while providing a great experience and instilling a love for the game. We maintain a positive environment at all times, and our highly qualified instructors help each participant have a great time building friendships, lacrosse skills and a passion for the game. We have a very strong track record helping youngsters build self-confidence and athletic skills while having a blast in our programs.
Season: 10 week season starts Sunday, February 26 through Sunday, May 6, 2012. After six skill development days players have team practices two nights per week then play games versus teams from other Charlotte area lacrosse organizations.
Practice & Game Location: All practices and games will be in South Charlotte locations, including: Ballantyne YMCA, British American School, Elon Park, & Jack Hughes Park, Pineville. Definitive locations and schedule are based on final registrations.
Cost: Registration fee for the 1-2nd grade team is $245.00 per player.

The registration fee includes: Instruction in a 10 week season, including 6 skill development days, team practices, 6-8 games versus other area youth teams. All players also receive: MYL Game Jersey, MYL game shorts, MYL practice/game reversible, MYL t-shirt, year end trophies to all players.
Registration Deadline: Friday, January 27, 2012. Due to the anticipated number of students wishing to participate, registration forms will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that schedule & field location subject to change due to availability and final registrations. Also, while we will make every attempt to re-schedule practices & games that are canceled due to inclement weather, we can not guarantee that canceled practices or games will be re-scheduled.
